Smart Routing Address v1 Is Live

Smart Routing Address now automates bridging and swaps across supported routes, giving apps a simpler way to accept cross-chain deposits.

With SRA v1, every user or destination can have a persistent deposit address. When supported funds arrive, Smart Routing Address routes them into the intended asset on the destination chain.

The update also introduces Deposit mode as the default, offering a lower-cost deposit experience and adds a new route for USDG from Arbitrum One to Robinhood Chain.

Cross-chain funding without the chain logistics

Users hold funds across different chains, exchanges, and onramps. Applications, however, often need those funds in a specific asset on a specific destination chain.

Supporting that journey directly means building and maintaining bridge integrations, swap logic, routing infrastructure, and the interface that holds it all together.

Smart Routing Address supports the funding path behind a persistent address. Users send a supported asset from a supported source, and ZeroDev helps route the required bridging and swaps to deliver the intended asset at the destination. Learn more about how routing works.

This gives teams a cleaner way to:

• Fund embedded wallets without asking users to manage chain logistics
• Accept cross-chain deposits into apps, accounts, vaults, or positions
• Support funding flows from exchanges and onramps
• Trigger approved product actions after funds arrive

Deposit mode is now the default

Smart Routing Address v1 gives teams two ways to define where the routing flow ends.

Deposit mode routes supported funds into the intended asset on the destination chain. It is now the default and is designed for straightforward deposits and funding flows that end when delivery is complete.

This helps create a lower-cost deposit experience for products that do not need additional execution after the funds arrive.

Execute mode extends the flow beyond delivery. After routing the funds to their destination, it can run orchestrated calls or actions defined by the product. It is designed for cases where funding is the start of the experience rather than the final step.

Teams can choose the mode that fits their product flow without building separate routing infrastructure for each use case.

A new route for USDG

Smart Routing Address v1 adds support for routing USDG from Arbitrum One to Robinhood Chain.

A user can send USDG from Arbitrum One to their persistent Smart Routing Address. ZeroDev then helps route the bridge and swap flow required to deliver USDG on Robinhood Chain.

It is one example of the broader experience Smart Routing Address can enable: your users start with funds where they already hold them, while the application receives the asset it expects at the intended destination.

Built for the next step

Smart Routing Address can be used as programmable funding infrastructure. It gives teams a foundation for cross-chain deposits today and for product experiences that begin once the funds arrive.

That includes flows such as funding an embedded wallet, depositing into an application, or using Execute mode to initiate approved actions after delivery.
